money is a non count noun, like water or air....and soon the dems will have both the house and the senate so they'll probably give you lots of fuel for another few decades...fortunately you'll have a timeshare in Tel Aviv by then and a southern rock band trashing your house....hey! Rock that life!

So let me get this straight, you are actually, with a straight face, implying Republicans don't do the same thing and have in this bill?

He admitted above that he did and that he hates that too. Strange though, he never complains about when they do it though.

Its ok for Republicans to put extra stuff in bills and vote by mail.

His admission was wrapped in a sarcastic burrito.

I felt like the first bill was definitely needed. I hated how much both sides put their agenda's into it, and how long it took. I think it was just crony capitalism dashed with a tiny bit of UBI for the unimportant people.
I'm really, really torn on this 2nd bill they've spent like 8 Trillion dollars already (I believe that may be wrong)... When does the economy turn into Venezuela where they had garbage bags full of money that was USELESS...
The problem is that stuff has happened that has put people in a terrible spot, and even a ton of businesses (especially small/medium ones) in a bad spot too.
The gap of average and rich has grown at an almost exponential level this year, and inflation will eventually if my economics teachers knew what they were talking about will absolutely decimate the middle class and lower class...

You realize you'll have to throw away your mattress every month you rent your house out...probably replace the overstuffed chairs as well or sofas. That pesky virus can live in your eyebrows for weeks I hear!

And those are the same idiots who thought this was a hoax to begin with, and not much different the average flu. So I'm not sure I think we should put much credo into their beliefs.

MIV and COVID? Hardly. I'm sure there are plenty of ways to conduct elections and social distancing. Again, we don't need stimulus monies earmarked towards the USPS. Believe what you'd like.

Considering the idiot in charge is trying to gut the USPS, and you think he's the greatest thing ever, I'm not surprised you think it's perfectly OK that they're doing it to the USPS and are against any funding for it in this bill.

The view must be dark for you.

Do you disagree with the idea of either massive reform in the USPS or dissolving it at some point for other options whether private or not?
I'm ok with the idea of either large changes or dissolving it for other options.

I'm not ok with using it for anyone's re-election purposes.
edit: I realize that Trump is using it right now for his own purposes, not because he has any good plans for how to replace the service it provides, and I don't like that.

Not in favor of privatizing it, in favor of reforming it, including the unrealistic standard set for the retirement funding.

I would hope that most Republicans/conservatives would actually be against a leader doing what Trump does, including almost outright saying that he's doing this to help him win re-election.

Im sure to some extent all presidents have wielded there power to some extent to help their re-election purposes. No president that I can think of has taken it anywhere close to as far as the current one. Which is a very bad precedent that, when a Democrat decides to do similar things when the time comes, you can bet republicans will react similarly to how democrats are now. Its a very bad precedent not a fan of it at all.

I think the ‘mail’ is somewhat out dated. It still provides a good service, but I think part of it could be privatized, and parts of it could be streamlined to be better and more effective.
Just like with Police Reform, Teacher Reform, or any reform of a major government system that people rely upon if reform is going to happen it needs to be well planned out, and well thought out.
Making massive changes to a system people rely upon for the purpose of re-electing yourself, seems irresponsible.
