Did anyone notice that Dame really stopped shooting after that knee to the head? I really hope he didn't have a concussion. Nobody really mentioned it after it happened.

They showed a replay on ABC and talked about how it was unintentional. I didn't realize it had an impact on his attempts, but it's possible. Brooks did a fantastic job on Dame and down the stretch he said he recognized CJ was hot and wanted to get him the ball. Dame is a fantastic teammate.

I think a lot of it was letting CJ do his thing, but I'm just hoping there aren't any lingering after effects.

It really kind of looked intentional to me, but hard to get in somebody’s head

How much time was left in the game after the knee?

Intentional or unintentional it was unnecessary contact to the head and should have been reviewed and assessed as a Flagrant 1.

What i watched was with about 3 mins left in the game Dame hit the floor hard again and he came up slow. He was not the same after that collision.

Man... so many people were diving on the ground that I didn't even see that one from Dame. I saw him hit the deck multiple times throughout the game.

Don't quote me on that time. But if you watch the end after that scuffle dame doesn't want the ball and asks CJ to take over. CJ then goes to work and Melo finishes them off.

That’s the way it should be done. Team effort.

I honestly think Dame didn't want to bring attention to it because concussion protocol could keep him out of the Laker game if they looked at it. It wasn't worth getting a flagrant 1 free throw for at that point in my view when he could have to sit out like Nas did when he got concussed

I think he is fine, he preserved a lot of energy today, probably in preparation for a potential game 2. Still, 31 points in a very relaxed role is so impressive.
