    I wondered this too: his reason for staying out was that his ex gave him one month visitation rights to his kid - but that's probably over by now.

    I read since he opted out he is not eligible to enter at all in the playoffs. Same for Aveey Bradley, etc.

    If he opted to come to bubble but come late or came then left for family emergency he would've been allowed to rejoin.

    Never say never, but... no chance.

    He had the chance to opt out for the rest of the season, and he took it. He can't come back after opting out, irrespective of the reason that he opted out.
