No, it's a good idea. I'd love to meet you and shake your hand as a show of respect. Saturday all morning long I've got dialysis so afternoon would be a must for me. The later in the afternoon the better because I need time to recuperate.
No, you've let the cat out of the bag and now you're required to hold the party otherwise I'll have to sue your ass in some sort of Blazer kangaroo court.
we already met silly. First i got a great story from schonz then sat and listened to a good story from you. Yours wasnt as good as Schonz telling aBout the time he turned and punched a heckling fan in the nose. Lol. its a must. If Saturday id say anytime after 2pm aNd as late as we wNt to go.
I'm pretty exhausted after dialysis and don't usually get home until about 1 pm. I then lay on the couch and drink a cup of tea laced with clover honey until I feel better. My blood pressure can be running really low after dialysis like around 75 over 48 and often lower. My wife needs to hang on to me lest I drop and hit the floor which I've done a few times. Standing up makes me dizzy and if I cough when I'm standing up, it's lights out. Therefor, it would depend on my blood pressure which I take every morning, about every half hour during dialysis and often when I get home from dialysis. It can run dangerously low to where my telehealth nurse advises me to go to the emergency room when it gets down to the mid 70s or below. I've been to the emergency room about two dozen times and I hate each time. The E room is no picnic so I avoid it even when maybe I should go. When my BP goes really low I drink fluid and eat salty snacks just to get it up there where I can survive. But hey, you've got to consider lots of people and not just me. I never get out of the house except to go to the hospital for my lifesaving treatments and I'm itching to go someplace so I'd love to attend but will practice viral safety such as mask, gloves and distancing. I figure that a bout with Covid-19 would kill me.
well Lanny in all seriousness you shouldn't put yourself at risk. My driveway is grave so getting around in a wheel chair might be difficult. there will be more, i promise.
So it doesnt seem this is gaining a ton of traction. im still down of anyone else is. Im going to consider it a watch party for game three ill start early. Game starts at 530, so ill have food ready around five pm anyone can come anytime as early as 2pm and im kicking your asses out an hour after the game is over. Lol nah. Anyone who wants to hang and go play pool or something, is more than welcome. anyhow. If you think you might show, please either respond in here or send me a dm. Ill send my addry out to everyone the day before. again. We havent had many meet ups for obvious reasons. Things have been fairly tense the last few months and stress is pretty high. This is a good opportunity for people to relax, enjoy the game and food connect with people again. maybe gain a bit more respect and compassion for our fellow Blazer sisters and brothers. also. If you show up, be prepared to take some garden veggies home. We are overwhelmed with zuccinni, cucumbers, pepperS, tomatoes, corn. Etc. I beleive the following said they would like to or will show, please confirm. @UncleCliffy'sDaddy @Chris Craig @dviss1 Maybe's: @PDXFonz @kjironman1 @Lanny @SlyPokerDog @BonesJones @Hoopguru Of course anyone else is welcome, these are just the people I recall showing interest. Would be nice to get some of you members who haven't been to a meet and greet before to come out. Anyhow, please let me know, so I can make sure the food is not too much or too little.
smartass and i forgot to put you down as a maybe. Lol. but grave does toe in to me telling Lanny not to take a risk. Lol. @Lanny if you attend im sure we can accommodate to help with logistical issues.
I honestly would love to stop by but I have to work and I won’t even be off till 530. Just not gonna happen for me. I’ll try to get to the next one.
this has to make jlprk's top 10 posts of the week list! I keep trying but I think I've only made the list twice in all these years
