Me thinks so. Nobody stands out heads and tails above the others in my opinion.

Bucks and Lakers don’t stand out? Explain.

How do you explain ignoring the Lakers then? They're not in the east

And no, the Blazers won't be the 8th seed.

Now that the Blazers have made the big trade to get them over the top, I see them climbing to to 8th seed and dismantling the Lakers in 6 games.

OK, OK...I don't do a very good KingSpeed impression.

That said, Titans and 9ers in the SB.

I don't know if this year is the year, but it's not super uncommon anymore.

Not sure if Portland is that team. Their defense is dumb and we're hoping that the role players will show up.

Trent has returned to earth, but still plays better defense than anyone on the team.
Mario has about 1/2 a good play a week.
Gabriel I really like, but he's so raw.
    Simons still needs another year.
Zach looks like the game is still too fast.
Whiteside looks like he's just going through the motions.
    CJ has a broken back.

Plus, the NBA media is totally creating a false narrative that the Lakers are vulnerable, so when they do win (the series/title) it'll be even more of a feel good American story!

    What does legitimately mean here?

A #8 seed upsetting a #1 is uncommon but has happened. I would say all are legitimate. Unlike football and college basketball where one bad game/good game can cause an upset, a 7 game series shows who is the better (or at least healthier) team.

Year after year, most everyone would scoff at the notion that an 8 can beat a 1. When I created this thread back in January, my thoughts were that, while probably securing the #1 seed, I believed the Lakers were not completely cohesive and might self-implode to some degree. This, while also thinking the Blazers would turn it on and have a strong finish.

We are not your typical 8th seed. The team that lost so much was injured and shallow. We now have a healthy Nurk, and Collins, along with a resurgent and hungry Carmelo, and Hassan off the bench.

No, not your typical 8 seed.

So yes, we got a shot. I put it about 40%. We can't stop LeBron, but they won't be able to stop Dame/CJ. Our three 7 footers can put the pinch on AD. They got bupkis after that.
