I have a hanging paint bucket tied to a string attached to the door knob and a jar of marbles perched precariously above the door frame.
That comic strip was in the newspapers when I was growing up....those were great! I think they were in Mad Magazines too...that's some old shit
I first read them in the syndicated comics strips in the newspaper...before I found Mad Magazine Spy vs spy...Beetle Bailey...Snoopy....Wizard of Id...all those classics in the Sunday comics
lol....I know. The old generators used a field assembly that help the magnets and an armature with brushes. The alternator went light weight using an stator in place of the field assembly and a rotor in place of the armature. The rotor has the magnets included.
Are you trying to explain the concept of generators and alternators to an electrical engineer? Wow, I've never seen them thingys before.
those little honda inverter generators are quiet, small and light. EL PREZ should be able to find room to stash one of those. usually have a dc charging plug for batteries and usb port too
