Matts, the funny thing is that 3-4 times in the last 2-3 weeks, every time I've dogged him for being, well, a dog, he has promptly responded with something positive. But his "all or nothing"/"swing for the fences" mentality coupled with his lazy ass defense just piss me off...but this has been the strategy for most Yankee hitters. Last night I watched as Hicks, Gleyber, and Voit refused to take a different approached once they were facing a 2 strike count. Hey, HRs are nice for highlight reels but damnit, sometimes a hit is nearly as good, especially when there are men on 2nd and 3rd and you're down by 3-4 runs.
