no it's not.....listen to Michelle Obama speak...or Barack Obama...the contrast between the conventions is clearly not the same this time around....if you didn't watch then you weren't impacted...I watched them all....I'm not a democrat but so far, they've far out spoken the GOP and been the voice of reason..this is not the time for half measures and lies to succeed...which is what Trump's camp has...one side has truth behind it and the other...not ..that's the bottom line

The Obama's are part of the problem with America. I couldn't listen to their lies anymore than I could listen to either president Bush's (Jr. or Sr.) lies.

They said nothing in the convention that was not true...I don't care if you like them or not...how would you know if you didn't listen?....I know when Trump lies because I listen...I also know the truth when it's spoken...apathy is not an excuse for facts. If you don't want to hear Trump exposed, don't listen because he's been exposed....show me Michelle Obama's lies...there aren't any...

You can't have an exploitable workforce if you don't find ways to continually exploit them.

So of course they shouldn't count.

It's not about like or dislike with me. It's about trust. And when I have seen Barrack Obama's lies, I can't trust him anymore than I can trust any other liar.

So you are discounting the current convention speakers because of your own bias against Barack Obama....that's not based on the convention speeches...it's just proving you are anti Obama at any cause....nobody lied to you in the democratic convention but you'd have to watch to know that...choices. There is a liar in the race and it's not either Obama. At any rate you missed some brilliant speeches...heartfelt and empathetic speeches...I found them impressive across the board.....can't say that about the GOP speeches I listened to...to each their own

You only think all that because of your own bias'... You can google search and find tons of articles about lies from the DNC, people generally will just say it's right-wing propaganda, or dismiss it because of the 'sources' of those articles. Just like the right does when the GOP lies, but myself included everyone in this thread has bias' in regards to what information they'll accept and what they won't.

This is a really interesting study/poll.

People tend to get into a bubble with their news, which means people aren't challenged to think much and our brains like it that way, we'd rather be told what to think. I'm no better at times. I watched most of the DNC campaign and I feel like I didn't at all get heartfelt empathetic speeches. I got platitudes and Trump is bad, but that's my own bias' speaking.

My political opinon is fully formed...call it bias...I call it being informed. I'm not a democrat....don't like Chuck Schumer at all personally but I do like Obama and his compromises as president without the legislative branch majority during his presidency are politics 101....give and take... fact is it doesn't matter why I think the Obamas were truthful stumping for Joe in the convention...it's enough that I didn't sense I was being lied to....now with Trump, I'm being lied to....that's not bias...that's informed observation. I understand you might not have a fully informed opinion about the candidates for president. That's fine...but I do...and not for partisan reasons but for damage control reasons....Trump is dangerous to the constitution ...if you don't care about that...understand that I do...please try to not to paint my politics as shallow or uniformed just because they're anti GOP and Trump....there's a reason I've arrived at my convictions...you are welcome to explore your own options

We all have bias' and the older we get the more stubborn our bias' are. I'm not knocking you that just how the brain works.
As we age we are also more hard-wired to believe certain sources and not to believe other sources. It's actually in many ways a good thing for our survival. I would agree Trump lies a lot. Also so does Michelle and Barack. Bias' are usually formed by some sort of evidence to make our brains start to believe something. Informed observations are part of what makes bias' for everyone.
My political opinion is mostly formed too, doesn't mean I lack bias.

    It's not bias. It's knowledge.

I used to be biased back when I watched CNN, MSNBC and Fox years ago. My perspectives have shifted a dozen times or more in the last 6 years. Now I see the media as truly biased, as it is.

I am not certain I could ever get anyone to my perspective due to my social problems. But, that is alright.

bullshit...the country is extremely challenged to think about some serious consequences right now....and it's not about the gross national product....it's about our democracy and safety as a nation ....I listened to the GOP last night...again they proved my intincts to be correct. Editorials are opinions...they're everywhere...and that can be misleading...people's words are pretty telling...Trump talks alot...just listen to him

you didn't listen to the convention so it's absolutely your bias and not knowledge....welcome to 2020 and the pandemic era of politics...the game has changed. This is not 6 years ago...I know Trump is a compulsive liar but I still listened to their convention too

I probably watched a total of about an hour and a half of the Democratic convention over it's four days and have watched zero of the lackluster Republican convention with no plans to watch any of it. I have no desire to watch the likes of junior, the human weasel.

you don't agree with my opinion but rather than offer one, you tell me what I'm not bothering to do? ok.......read through my posts on this thread...I'm not building anything, I'm commenting on current events....you can wander into abstraction about it all day....ask me a question, I'll give you an answer....simple....when you asked if Puerto Rico was American or Latin American I answered you and you went off on how disgruntled Puerto Ricans are with their situation......go figure..you needed for some reason for the answer to be something it's not....
