At first glance, this makes no sense. But he is probably just tired of talking about it. What more can he say that he hasn't said before? Got to be frustrating.

Brian Windorst said last week it costs the league about $1.5 million per day to run the bubble.

TNT is currently showing The Longest Yard instead of NBA playoff basketball. Think of all the revenue lost for everyone involved.

This will inevitably bring change. Just gotta be patient and do it in a meaningful way. This wouldn't be happening if the bubble didn't exist-- that platform is absolutely massive.

What's too far is when a cop grabs an unarmed man by his undershirt, aims his gun at that man point blank and fires seven shots into the man... that's too fucking far. No peaceful response to that could possibly be too far.

If there is action taken in response to the boycott by the government or a huge show by the league that they are not going to stand for racial injustice anymore, the playoffs will resume and there will be a champion. That champion will be completely legitimate in my opinion. I really hope these unprecedented actions taken by the NBA players cause at least a ripple of change that can grow into actual reform and equality. I hope that happens and that these players and teams get to finish the playoffs. I think it's likely both will happen. I just don't know if that change that the ripple causes will last but I sure hope it does.

I don't want to sound like a cynic but I can be one at times. I think what will happen is either the NBA will make a grand gesture like a huge donation or more likely a new foundation that is just enough to placate the players but definitely not enough to make a meaningful dent in this enormous problem or state governments or the federal government (most likely just the House of Representatives) will put together a committee or present a bill to be voted on at a later date that will be enough to again placate the players but enact no real lasting change. I could even see the House very quickly passing a bill about police reform, mandated penalties for police brutality and studies about how to stop systemic racism in law enforcement. That could very likely happen and then the Senate, a month from now, would just shoot it down or the president would veto the bill. I do think someone will do something flashy and ineffective to get athletes playing again (the MLB is canceling games now too).

Right; it's been the lack of adjustment and lack of awakening by the police that has caused this.

Yeah, because there were no racial issues before 2016, and the Coronavirus is keeping tabs on the American political system
