The Miami Heat has again expressed interest in Sacramento Kings point guard Mike Bibby, who's on the block but due $28 million combined during the next two years. Link
If the Cavaliers really wanted Mike Bibby so badly, we could easily get him. Miami doesn't have much to offer, but old vets... And they don't want that. I don't see Mike Bibby going there unless they give up a 1st rounder or something. I just don't see Miami getting him.
^Who is Cleveland offering??Bibby would actually fit nice in Miami. His lack of perimeter defense would be alright there, with Miami's front court.
I dont think Cleveland can get him as easily as your saying. The only players worth trading Bibby for is Hughes(which they dont need), Gooden/Varejao(which they dont need), or even Gibson(which they dont need) and some 1st rnd picks...which will be late 1st rounders for sure. I dont see how the Kings can make a good trade with the Cavs because they basicly wouldnt get anything they need...As for Miami, I can see the Kings wanting Dorrel Wright, who plays SF, same as Artest..but Artest may not be around much longer. The Kings need to go into a youth movement, trade Miller, Artest and Bibby, get some young talent like Dorrel Wright and begin rebuilding around K-Mart and the young talent you get...
Bibby would be nice in Miami but his name has been mentioned in rumors with Miami so much the last few years that Im not gonna get my hopes up.
Well, we could trade Gooden and someone else for Bibby and I think they'd accept. Ferry wants another big if we trade away one, though..

Why the hell would the Kings want ANOTHER big man? They just signed Mikki Moore, they drafted Spencer Hawes, they still had Abdur-Rahim and Brad Miller...both very serviceable big men.If theres any chance the Cavs get Bibby, a third team will have to be involved.

I said like 2 weeks ago, they signed Mikkie Moore like last week. We were trying to work out a deal to get Rahim to Cleveland, too. Just fell through. And I believe it was Gooden, Jones, and something else for Bibby. I don't know the deal, I just heard the reports.
Wow, it's starting to seem like the Heat want every PG on the face of the planet. They have interest in Bibby, Francis, Navarro, and others. I get that they want a solid third option but they should have made a smaller list as to who they want.

A bigger list means the better chances of actually aquiring a solid PG.

I'm not saying that Miami shouldn't look at alot of options but they should have a better idea of what kind of a PG they want at what price range.
