What the hell happened to him? How can anyone be THAT "dehydrated"?

What happened is that he had a concussion and then later he fainted. They said that they thought the fainting was from dehydration, but you don’t screw around with something like that. He needs a longer recovery time and maybe a more in depth medical evaluation.

Also realized he wasn't going to be a difference maker in this series (as a rookie), so why risk it?

that would make more sense. Never saw the report.
So then it would be nice to get an Update from the Blazers.

it wasn’t dehydration, he had a syncopal episode. It’s really not hard to find out these things before typing nonsense.

I think the “why risk it” is the more important part. There were times when the Blazers could have used Little’s muscle and 6 fouls for brief stints.

Syncopal episode is the medical term for fainting. Dehydration is one thing that can cause it. Brain injury is another.

its really not hard to understand some people only come here to talk Blazers and if they missed it posted, they don't know?

its not hard to understand some people have busy lives and arent able to search for every pc of news all the time and its either come here or google search and some people come here cause they dont have time for both? I push my time limits being here too much as it is.

Just post a link and inform?

it would’ve taken less time to google nassir little than to start a pointless thread

IMO, what will it take to get Stotts fired is a pointless thread. Asking about the condition of a Blazer player, especially when the information provided by the team has been a bit vague, not so much.

Right - I forgot about the fainting. I was just responding to the fact that they were STILL using "dehydration" as the reason he didn't play last night. I wonder why they kept him in the bubble, though, if the fainting episode was that worrying.

As I said, if you seriously suspect brain injury then you send him the fuck home ASAP.

Actually, Florida is home for him. Sticking him on a plane to Portland would be kind of pointless.

How was it vague? They announced what it was.

They said it was a syncopal episode and listed the cause as dehydration. Dehydration doesn’t last for days when treated. They left unsaid that there’s a risk of a brain injury and that they are being cautious because of that.
