I agree...thats tribalism in the fulness and look at all the youngsters in the mideast that grow up fighting one another and others. The media needs to tone it down but they wont, someone in hear said the bubble was all about redeeming lost revenue, well, the media is rating driven and they don't really care about what they produce as long as it gains viewers. Social media has its good but it certainly has a bad effect on young people, and old. My son when he returned from serving in the mid east was met and escorted by veteran groups and the patriot biker clubs to their base to meet with families. There were people of all colors, sex, religion or no religion and i'm sure political persuasion, and it was neat to experience a nice family/community atmosphere. My young 6 yearly old grandson asked me if everyone liked each other within the group and if they fight each other too.
beczuse we are on the verge of war and apparently this is the goal for those not wanting to dissect all aspects of these shootings to come to an equal solution.
Was the guy a Nazi? Or is this a case of "well, we disagree with that person, therefore he/she is the worst case scenario"?
Wheeler is such a fucking idiot. "I'm reading on social media that Trumpers are going to come to downtown Portland to extract revenge. Please don't do that." 2 mins later. "Let me tell you why Trump is bad." LOLZ. Let's see how that works.
Because that should not be the focus right now. We do need the national guard. We need to establish a strict curfew in DT Portland. That includes closing streets to non-resident vehicle traffic. Need to raise the bridges and close off off ramps from 405 and I-5 as a way to funnel traffic into controlled access to the downtown core. While this was the first shooting death between protesting groups but there have been multiple incidents on both sides of people using cars as weapons and to promote violence. Use the national guard to block and limit streets to prevent the roaming of protesters past curfew. Do not use them for law enforcement.
I just heard the chief say they tried a curfew and it didn't work ? Thats where they have failed, its a red Line that cannot be crossed. It would separate the the peaceful protesters from the trouble makers eventually.
