Re: Bonds hit's 2 HR's, only needs 3 to break it. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2942345 He could have this thing beat before the month is over.
Re: Bonds hit's 2 HR's, only needs 3 to break it. SMHThis was Griffey's record to break.F*ck injuries.
Re: Bonds hit's 2 HR's, only needs 3 to break it. I'm tired of all of it. I can't wait for the day he retires and baseball can get back to normal.
Re: Bonds hit's 2 HR's, only needs 3 to break it. Am I the only one that is excited for the record to be broken? He has 753 homeruns. The world has to be watching now.

Re: Bonds hit's 2 HR's, only needs 3 to break it. Then forget about the steroids and think that you're watching the best hitter of all-time.
Re: Bonds hit's 2 HR's, only needs 3 to break it. His career will always be tainted though, either way.

Re: Bonds hit's 2 HR's, only needs 3 to break it. It shouldn't be more than a decade before A-Rod gets it, anyway. No harm, no foul.

Forget about the steroids. Maybe the best home run hitter ever.
Re: Bonds hit's 2 HR's, only needs 3 to break it. I could do the same. But some of those things you posted are completely useless.Shares record for consecutive plate appearances with a walk?Holds record for most consecutive games with a walk?Who gives a crap. Those don't mean anything.Fact is, Ted led Bonds in 3 major batting categories (Avg, SLG, OBP), and didn't get the same opportunities Bonds did. Bonds cries about him being "discriminated against", while Williams had to fight in a damn war in the prime of his career. He played in way less games, and had 2000 less AB's than Bonds. He'd be past Bonds in RBI, doubles, triples, hits, walks, and runs. Williams struck out 800 less times than Bonds, despite having less at-bats.
Re: Bonds hit's 2 HR's, only needs 3 to break it. IF Mickey Mantle were able to play more with healthier knees (tore em both up on drainage pipes in the yankee stadium outfield) Mantle would've been the best ever. Dude was amazing...before he hurt his knees he was the fastest out of the box, he could bunt it past the pitching right towards second base and beat it out about 75% of the time. Stats are so overrated, and most people here are probably gonna look at the Mick's stats and say "haha are you serious?" but I dont care and im not even debating anyone because I dont even give a F*ck - IMO he would have easily been the best but some unfortunate things happened so oh well. so who do I really think is the best? eh, maybe willie mays...idk..tough to say. theres a ton of great ones...
Re: Bonds hit's 2 HR's, only needs 3 to break it. Plenty of people would have been the best "if" something did or didn't happen Mardy.
