Yeah, when I've listened to others debate 'who is the best Blazer ever' I've been interested in knowing the criteria they use. Some value great short term achievements (NBA Championship), and others value great long term achievements (Win-Share or All-Time Top 10 categories). I was curious if I could put a balanced weighting to some of those factors to create a list that somewhat resembled my overall 'subjective' opinion. It was tougher than I thought it would be. When I increased a weighting of one of the categories so I could move a player up, it also moved other players up/down that I didn't think should be moved. It really challenged me to look at how I value 'greatest ever'. Now my favorite ever Blazer to watch? Totally subjective - Sabonis. But Dame is quickly moving up that list. Wow has he been fun to watch. Every year he seems to find another gear.
I don’t really buy it in 19 or 20. It is a stat they use to control overall. There is no reason why Paul George or Jrue Holiday should have Intangibles of below 50. I have been messing with intangibles stats for players to make their overalls more in line with ability but haven’t noticed any change in performance.
I've been playing MyPlayer and have been coming off the bench. Playing behind Ricky Rubio. I'm on my 24th game and have to wait till I'm a starter to request a trade to the Blazers. Says the Blazers hold a 26% interest in me.
Don't be mad at me y'all..... My player is on the Lakers! (I'm a PG) I took Rondo's spot! Lob City Baby!!
Trae Young is so much fun in this game. Playing with Atlanta and loving it. Traded for Myles Turner and Jaylen Brown, this team is mad good now. I did improve Trae's 3-point ability to 85 and gave him 83 mid-range though. I also upgraded Dame and CJ slightly, and updated Simons significantly for his shooting as his 75 from three did not make sense. I like that you are able to edit players in this series, it's really useful and you can make it much more realistic. I'm 6-3 with Blazers, just won by 30 points at Clippers and came back from 15 down in the final quarter against Nets. 7-4 on my save with Clippers, 3-1 with Atlanta and I've restarted with Pelicans because I made wrong moves on my previous one. I intend to keep playing with those 4 teams for the season, maybe add 1-2 saves. I'll need to import players DNAs when they get updated materially.
Meh. It's all about building my my-player PG. I can throw lobs to LeBron, Davis, and Kuzma. Plus Danny Green is knock down. I'm averaging 12 assists per game on my rookie season. Playing on superstar. You get the "Gym Rat" badge when you win the championship. I need that ASAP. I was on the Clippers then I forced a trade LOL.
In 2K17 yeah. The distribution of this attribute does not make sense. Paul George is quite clutch, I think he scored the second most winning shots last season. He has 45. It’s basically just to avoid giving him 95 because that’s what other stats would have given him if he had a normal 80 intangibles rating.
