The cooler your neighborhood becomes, the more yuppie assholes from California will come in and fuck everything up. How man $8 Juice Bars you got in your area now?
But yeah, I'm really selective on where I'd live. There are probably 2 or 3 areas in LA I would even consider living in for the future. None of them are the burbs. (really aren't "burbs out here though") I would live in South OC or North County San Diego though which is the burbs.
I live a block off the Alameda ridge with views of the entire city bro. And this is exactly whats wrong. Nobody is questioning if you guys have good food, it’s how its served. In a damn parking lot instead of an old house. I love the charm of our hood. Like I said to each his own. And I have kids, you don’t yet. Since you grew up out there, maybe you won’t. But there is something about these shops and neighborhood vibe. It feels like a tight knit neighborhood, not a freeway exit
And for somebody like yourself that likes hip restaurants and shops.... I’d think you’d dig my area. That and we are about 20 blks from Alberta st
Yeah, last month I hit up the Piedmont food pod. Area has....changed.....was gonna hit up Pips but line was too long
and the beautiful diversity of the homeless bums and their tents, trash, and crime. But I agree with you, that area is very cool. But for the me negatives beat out the positives.
But that’s just it son, we don’t have bums and tents in our area. Don’t understand why people are factoring that in. Obviously I see that downtown and in other areas, but I don’t live there.
The only time I’ve seen a bum in my hood, was when you joined me for lunch at my brothers restaurant!!! #BAM
@BoBoBREWSKI knows how I bring it! And I love that video of those kids reacting. Wonder what that is from? And how apropos to use it here, that’s what half the kids in our neighborhood look like. #DiversityFAMS
