I think that's an unfair stereotype that athletes want blonde girls on flights...I'd call that a white perspective....I also know that sports franchises do not hire airline staff....this is on the airline..not young athletes....see who's getting sued for it...it's not the Dallas Cowboys...it's United Airlines..I don't think I've ever seen a cheerleading squad in pro sports without black, hispanic or asian cheerleader either...also men are airline attendants as well.

Isn't the HCP the flight attendant on Blazers flights?

No, I think most men prefer blonds.
Customers don't hire airline employees and this applies to nearly all the airline customers.
Cheerleaders are not there for the team. They are there for the men and women in the audience. There probably is more emphasis on hiring diversity in cheerleading although I'm not sure exactly why.
Look, I'm not against this lawsuit, I'm just not at all surprised by the preference of athletes for the company of this type of woman. I once worked with a Korean woman who died her hair blond. I've seen plenty of Black women who have died their hair blond.
So, the whole thing about putting young, attractive, blond women out there to appeal to their customers is not at all surprising to me. Wrong, yet expected until John law puts his foot down.

Also feeds into racial myth, Black men lusting after white, especially blond, women.
