Portland has a problem that can be solved by writing in Damian Lillard for Mayor of Portland in the upcoming runoff election. Ted Wheeler is a failure and Sarah Innarone would be as well. We need a return to law and order. Dame is perhaps the only person who is popular enough to win as a write-in candidate, and he commands enough respect with demonstrated clear thinking (including organizing business in addition to basketball) to do it. Dame could be a much better Mayor, in addition to leading the Blazers. By hiring an Assistant Mayor to follow Dame's directives, Dame could spend less than an hour per day on the Mayor tasks and keep his focus on basketball. Portland could return to liveability as the Portland Police were supported to justly enforce the law and protect all citizens. I plan to write in Damian Lillard for Mayor and invite all who read this to consider this option.
Portland needs to write in Meyers Leonard for mayor, just like he was the answer to the Blazers problems he is being over looked and needs to be put in a position where he can make Portland succeed. No one else is ready to take on this challenge, and I think we're all overlooking the fact that Meyers is really the answer.
Swish reveals his politics, which agree with Meyers Leonard. Lillard speaks like a deadhead. Our most glib talker is Whiteside, so he's probably our smartest player.
It seems that Dame is a resident of West Linn and thus not qualified. Thanks for pointing that out. Brian Grant seems to be the qualified alternative to write in. Who else, if any, other Blazer also has had a Portland address for 1 year?
