Well the Brow came up clutch and I think that's a wrap on Denver. They scrapped and scrapped to get ahead in that one, just to lose. That hurts a young team. They'll be down next game and the Lakers will smell blood in the water and go for the kill.

2-0 is not a wrap for this team.

Also- how on earth does that hurt a team that has played in 4 game 7s? They’re the most mentally tough team remaining in the playoffs.

I think coming back the way they did, they are used to winning those games in which they come back. They're also playing against the Lakers and the Lakers are far and away the best team in the league. Denver is toast, do you think they'll get another game against the Lakers where they get 14 more free throws? It's not happening. This was their best chance to win and they couldn't get it done. I wouldn't be surprised if it's a sweep but I know that Denver is tough so maybe they'll win one game like we did and like the Rockets but both us and the Rockets got that first game when LA wasn't really locked in. Denver has the Lakers attention, so things are not going to get any easier for them.

I disagree that the Lakers are far and away the best team in the league. The Bucks and Raptors exceeded them in the regular season and the Miami Heat have shown to be at the Lakers' level in the playoffs. The Nuggets aren't afraid of the Lakers. This isn't David & Goliath (it wasn't in the Clippers series either). The Nuggets are a great team. They showed tonight that they can beat the Lakers. Now they just have to do it. Playoffs are all about improving and getting better as the series goes on. Nuggets are trending in the right direction. It wouldn't surprise me if the Nuggets won in 6. Honestly. Similar to what the Raptors did to the Bucks in 2019 playoffs (lose first two, get better, win 4 straight). This Nuggets team has been through four seven game series together over the last two seasons. These Lakers haven't done anything yet. This is their first playoffs together. Can't wait for Game 3. I'm sure the Nuggets can't either.

    1. HE hit the shot - what did Dwight do? Watch it?
    2. Russ had been talking smack all series. And before. Unless the Noogies are secret smack-talkers, this seems like punching down.

Dame's "wave" after his game-winner was the end of the series. Dwight's comments come after two wins, which is basically telling the Nuggets not to even bother showing up to finish the series. That's an entirely different level of asshole-ry.
