How is COVID19 gonna affect your holidays? Usually start booking flights by now, not even looking. Prob wont end up going to Oregon for Thanksgiving and Christmas. First time in my life I'll miss it. But a lot of older relatives, don't want to expose/risk it even with a vaccine available. All the college kids turning up will be on all those flights probably. Covid superspreaders.
Even then, the numbers in LA are way higher. Not comfortable kicking it with family quite yet. Also.....eww.
No trick or treating for my son probably Thanksgiving won't change much. We have my mom over. Then usually have a second Thanksgiving at the wives parents house. Might not go there. Christmas less presents under the tree maybe
Holiday shopping season will be a big bust. You think the unemployment numbers are bad now? Wait till next year.
Texas and Wyoming. We are actually going to both spots within the next month. She isn't as overprotective as I am. She's on call on Thanksgiving. We may go to Hawaii between Christmas and New Years if its open, we'll see whats up.
It sucks man. We didn't get a baby shower before Scarlett was born, and it doesn't look like she'll be meeting the extended family anytime soon.
Yeah, I haven't been able to see my little nephew grow up. I mean it hasn't been that long, but he will be a big boy by the next time I see him!
There are members of my family I've been avoiding for decades, but now I have an awesome excuse! Thanks Obama! barfo
It's gonna be a lonely Christmas, but then most of my family is dead anyway. My wife has a sister and brother-in-law so they're the only ones we will be missing. The rest of her side are out of state.
This has actually really simplified everything for us......we are so flat broke, my wife and kids aren’t expecting anything.
Other than the gold, though, they were pretty shitty gifts. Probably they were regifting crap they got at the office pre-Christmas party. barfo
