Can one of you gee......errrrr.......ner........errrrrr......... tech savvy you men give me little info on what a VPN does and one that you would recommend. Tried to do some research, but THE HCP got confused. Any time there are more words than pics, he gets lost.
Not sure if a browser change is an option for you, but if so, there are multiple browsers with built-in VPNs. https://windowsreport.com/best-browser-built-in-vpn/
I’m almost (almost) as technically hopeless as you are, but I use Adblock. It’s cheap and has been very effective in general. It’s certainly worth a try before you start forking out a monthly fee.....
Basically it's all about the bit torrents. We switched internet service and I was grabbing one of my daughter's show she missed and I got a warning from our internet service provider warning me not to do that again. On our old service, I could grab movies and shows all the time and never got a warning. Obviously was not wanting to spend to much, but want to make sure I get a quality one.
Heck just change your name and your Picture on the Moniker again. We promise to act like we don't know who you are most of the time.
What's weird is if you set your VPN to a european country and then open up Netflix you get a ton of more shows. All the CBS all access stuff is on there, so is the ESPN 20 for 20 catalog.
Adblock blocks advertisements on websites. A VPN is like camouflage for the internet. When browsing the net from not behind a VPN your IP address and therefor identity is made available to websites; using a VPN is like incognito mode for your identity. This is because websites view you through the VPN and not your IP address as your IP address is masked by the VPN.
