And does it help you poop? I've been thinking about trying to cut off my coffee, but it also makes my body want to poop in the morning, which feels healthy when I do, lol. So do you drink coffee and if so, does it make you want to poop?
Nope. Tried it twice while in the Army, couldn't get to the second sip either time. All wine tastes like vinegar to me, too, so it doesn't surprise me that I'm an outlier.
I tried drinking coffee in both college and the Army but could never get used to it. I now drink a cup about once or twice a month if it's really good like Boyd's and has some half and half.
All coffee, to me, tastes and smells like the same coffee. So no, I don't drink it. I really don't do caffeine anymore either. Im similar with wine/Champagne, and most alcohols. My brother makes hard ciders and even the ones that are flavors I would like, tastes like I'm drinking rubbing alcohol. I also think cilantro tastes like soap, so maybe I'm not the best judge. If I want to have a healthy dump (thanks for the discussion OB!) I like oatmeal. If I want to not have one, just eat peanut butter and I get plugged like a damn.
I drink coffee constantly and don't understand people who don't. Haha. It helps me poop, tastes delicious, gives me pep. Definitely a part of my morning ritual in waking up and getting ready for the cruel world.
I can think of reasons not to drink it (caffeinated coffee I mean). Drinking caffeine (as much as I did) was a leading cause of my pissing out a rock. So that's a big reason why I don't drink caffeine/coffee (that and I don't like the taste). Coffee has anywhere from 3 to 10x the amount of caffeine as a can of pop did.
I drink Coffee every morning. Yes, it helps me poop. It also helps me pee as its a diuretic. Hope that was helpful.
Drink some fiber supplement the day before if you’re worried about how “dumping” (haha) coffee would affect your BM’s.
As long as we are getting to know each other, I am fine with it. Its part of what helps clear me out. I take a big one once a day or so. Also, I am a reader. I like to read on the pot. I have most of the Uncle John's Bathroom reader books. Is anybody else a bathroom reader.
My urologist told me since Ive had issues with rocks to limit to 8oz/day as it has moderate oxalate, which is a cause of my stones. Said to stay away from chocolate milk as its super high in oxalate. Ive not done real well wit the coffee suggestion as I have 2-3 cups up to about noon.
I'm a reader, but I like to get in and out of the bathroom quick. I do my business, clean up, and leave.
Various black teas, Assam, Darjeeling, English Breakfast, Early Gray. In the evening a low caffeine blend of green tea, mint and lemon grass.
I'll drink coffee at work or if someone wants to buy me one. Too cheap unless the coffee is free and has good variety of things to add to it.
