Isolation affects people in different ways. I served as well and we were all trained to deal with Isolation. Do you think boot camp is just for recruits to learn how to fold clothes or make a bed? It is also to weed out those that cannot deal with the situation they will soon be facing. I saw lots of good guys that could not deal with submarine service. Does not make me a tough guy since I served my full time, just wired differently.
I bet you wasn't coup up in hotel either like these guys was and yes we were train to deal with adversity through training. But remember these guys got some of there family members in when there playoffs started.
Just because someone is in a hotel and got a few family members into the bubble once the playoffs started does not negate the fact it is still a bubble. Some people are just not made for it. I am seeing it with other people and kids. Do you not see others around you that are going crazy with all this Isolation?
Where I live know one is isolated and everyone going to work. I think it weak a bunch of millionaires can't handle a little adversity in there life. Plus I haven't heard none of them that's has mental iissues either. Plus they had a choice to opt out if they didn't want to play.
I'd answer bro but you know....the "no insult rule"!! ....it has something to do with stamina and equipment I believe
League could lose 1 billion with a B! https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id...t-season-cost-league-1-billion-revenue-losses
Sports franchises and leagues are going to face what the rest of the entertainment biz is going through.....until the virus is washed out of our lives....live entertainment dollars for sports, theater, concerts, bars, restaurants etc....are going to be on pause....they will have to adjust the season if they plan to play one and compensate for the financial realities....if they don't agree they stand to watch players form a new league that they control...you'll see more black front office execs than you see in the NBA I'm pretty sure...I think there will be changes across the board that will shake up things we've gotten used to having around to enjoy
NBPA To Vote On December Start Thursday Or Friday https://www.hoopsrumors.com/ November 3rd, 2020 at 5:00pm CST by Dana Gauruder The Players Association is planning to hold a vote on Thursday night or Friday morning on the league’s proposal to start next season on December 22, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. The NBPA, led by executive director Michele Roberts, started holding conference calls with players from each team on Monday and that process will go through Thursday morning. The tone of those calls gave the impression the season is likely to start before Christmas, Charania adds. In that instance, a 72-game season would be held. The alternative start date is Martin Luther King Day on January 18 with a 60-game regular season. Previous reports suggested the league would limit the season to 50 games if it started in mid-January. The chaotic start prompted Milan coach Ettore Messina on Monday to call for suspending the season until March or April.
