as for Georgia

I saw Jon King on CNN say that there are 14,000 votes left to count in Georgia, and 9000 of those voter are in Gwinnet Co. (58-40 for Biden) and Clayton Co, (85-14 for Biden). He also said that Biden is consistently beating his county averages by significant levels in the absentee vote. Better is that Biden is consistently getting more absentee votes than trump in counties trump won. If that holds, Biden could hold a 2000-4000 vote lead when all the votes are counted.

a recount for sure, but the odds of turning around that many votes in a recount are really small

 

it will depend on the military vote. I’d like to think a lot of them are from the ATL area

then again they only have until tomorrow to get those ballots in, and the USPS might screw them

as for the call to Georgia D's to fix their ballots:

Those who voted absentee — a group that this year has been heavily Democratic — can check online to see whether election officials have accepted or rejected their ballots. Absentee ballots are often rejected when the voter forgets to sign or uses a signature that does not match the one on file with the state, possibly because it is many years old. Election officials are supposed to contact voters in such cases but are not always able to do so.

Voters have until 5 p.m. on Friday to submit a simple affidavit form to “cure” such ballots. This is what I'm saying. Count all the votes. Then recount em in Georgia. But all I want is a lead... because if we are recounting from behind its almost a sure loss... especially if its anywhere above 1 thousand.
