I simply raise my nose and say “Fake News” anymore when the trumpers talk.
No need to go much further?

These fucks have poisoned close to half of the country with their dangerous, fascist, and frankly racist rhetoric. I wish the nation was intelligent enough to recognize this. Some of these public figures seriously need to go down.

dont worry Pompeo couldn’t organize a successful coup in Bolivia. No way he can do it here.

Can't wait till they blame the voting fairies who come out after dark when everyone is sleeping and mischievously and secretly change the selections on ballots with magic pixie dust while GOP representatives are forced to wait outside.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
It's interesting--Republicans are going along with Trump's flailing desperation because they don't want to alienate his base of loyal cultists (which is about 40-50% of Republicans, conservatively, no pun intended) especially ahead of the Georgia run-off Senate elections. But even when Trump is removed from office in January, those people aren't going to stop loving him and looking to him for their reality--what do Republicans do then? Does Trump remain the Republicans' leader-in-exile? Do they have to keep taking their marching orders from his Twitter feed, to avoid alienating his adherents ahead of the 2022 midterms, the 2024 elections, etc?

Almost makes you feel sorry for Republican politicians, many of whom dislike Trump but nearly all of which have to do his bidding and look like craven lackeys.

    Almost.

It's their own faults for going along with it in the first place instead of having morals and a backbone.

It seems like in the absence of power, and leader without a position, would make for a good time for a 2024 hopeful to get out in front and paint the guidelines of the new GOP. Start building a strong base as quick as possible.

Yup...no way the GOP allows someone to anoint themselves as the candidate without their rubber stamp on it.

    Interesting statistic:

Biden’s winning base in 477 counties encompasses fully 70% of America’s economic activity, while Trump’s losing base of 2,497 counties represents just 29% of the economy. (Votes are still outstanding in 110 mostly low-output counties, and this piece will be updated as new data is reported.)

I wonder why Democrats felt compelled to create that many illegal votes, seems like around 72m/73m would have been enough.

I just read that Mitch McConnell posed with new senators who just won and were on the same ballots as Biden, yet he's still disputing Biden's win... simply amazing.
