They have a decent chance to do that, but they haven't retained the Senate yet. There are two run-off elections in Georgia that will determine that. The Republicans are probably somewhat favored in one, and slightly disfavored in the other.
Dems focused too much on why Collins was bad instead of focusing on what Gideon could do better for the citizens of Maine. It's the same mistake they're making in both senate races in Georgia.
