You should have phrased it as hospitals being over-run with criminals seeking to steal tax dollars for socialized medicine.
That would be recognized as a real crisis.

I just wish Trump, Atlas, Don Jr and all their fans would spend ONE DAY in an ICU floor at an overrun hospital. Those pussies would pass out from what they witness. But nope, instead the sit at home and call it all fake. There aren’t even words to describe what I wish would happen to these fuckers.

^^^This^^^...I have 3 family members who are/were working at different hospitals and they all say that the situation where they work is/was "controlled chaos"...one has flat out quit and another has taken an "indefinite leave of absence" and the 3rd one is now working only "part time" because so many elective procedures have been postponed because of covid patients taking up so many rooms/beds.

Yes he is. If you watched that reality show he had on TV about a dozen years ago, you'd see he's just as much of a grifter as anyone else is.

The guy is a freaking moron. And I'm saying that not because he voted for Trump, but because he's a fucking tool.

there is some more good news on the vaccine front as the Moderna vaccine trials have yielded a 94.5% effective rate (still real early). Of course, science by press release generates some 'healthy' skepticism. Still, that early results have yielded 90% effective rates in a new technology, the mRNA process, is hopeful. Better yet, unlike the Pfizer vaccine which has to be transported and stored in special deep freeze containers....that are not readily available....the Moderna vaccine can be stored safely for up to a month in standard refrigeration

what this all means is there could be 2 different vaccines ready for emergency use by the end of the year. And it increases the odds there could be a widely available vaccine by next summer

now that that pesky good news is out of the way, back to our regularly scheduled bad news programming:

    * " The United States is experiencing an unprecedented surge of hospitalizations across the country. Today, states reported that 61,964 people were hospitalized with COVID-19, more than at any other time in the pandemic. For context, there are now 40 percent more people hospitalized with COVID-19 than there were two weeks ago."

BILLIONAIRE MEGADONERS WHO FOUGHT WISCONSIN’S PLANS TO CONTAIN PANDEMIC GET INFECTED AT WHITE HOUSE

Trump megadonors Liz and Dick Uihlein, owners of Uline shipping and outspoken opponents of COVID-19 prevention measures, have tested positive for the virus after attending an election night party at the White House.

Earlier this year, Liz Uihlein called the pandemic “overhyped,” lobbied legislators to overturn the public health restrictions by Governor Tony Evers, and backed a petition to have the Governor removed from office. A rare and brief interview with The Guardian on April 23 introduced Uihlein by stating:

“One of Donald Trump’s most fervent billionaire donors is lobbying against strict stay-at-home rules in the election battleground state of Wisconsin, raising troubling new questions about how the president’s rightwing financial supporters may influence the US response to the pandemic.”

Dr. Mengele Atlas is telling people to have holiday gatherings because it could be your grandparents' last Thanksgiving. Especially if you follow his advice.

Michigan Republican state legislators are trying to impeach Governor Whitmer for enacting public health measures. In other states they are filing legal challenges because they demand freedom to infect others.

Fox called suggestion to limit holiday celebration to immediate household "family separation". When children were taken from their parents and put in cages with no plan to reunite, they cheered that family separation.

    • Anthony and Mikayla Bishop tied the knot in Blue Ash on October 31 with 83 guests in attendance
    • Less than two weeks later, the couple both tested positive to COVID-19, as did 30 of their wedding guests
    • The newlyweds are now speaking out about their wedding ceremony, admitting no one wore masks and attendees hovered close together on the dance floor
