    I’m definitely excited about this acquisition! Two firsts seems like a lot, but he’s the kind of player this team needs. Talk about a perfect mentor for Nassir Little, too.

    One thing I just realized if Rockets are doing a firesale. Was there a possible way to get PJ Tucker into the deal by sending Simons or Little? I would feel A LOT better about the trade if we also got Tucker.

    I see Roco as a swing 4, with Hood at 3. Zach off the bench. Whoever it is that starts, Covington gives us that flexibility we have been desperately lacking.

    I hope this deal signals the end of Melo time in Portland.

    One underrated aspect: Ariza was actually quite good in the time he was here, but at 35, he may not be as good as he was last year.
