    What I cannot grasp is why the GOP still cowers at the feet of Trump even after he has been defeated...makes no sense to me.

    But that is exactly why the GOP is fucked no matter which way they go. IMO, the only way they can save their party is to come clean and jettison Trump.

    That will give them 4 years to rethink/restructure the GOP in order to make another run in 2024...as it stands now, if they stick with Trump they are still screwed for 2024.
