I think he was willing to give a first round pick, but I could be wrong. Of course we don't have any now and not a 2nd rounder until 2022. It would be nice if it turned out we picked Elleby for them, or maybe they just happen to like him? Anything else we have?
@BonesJones had a great idea that we can use our TPE to absorb S&Ts. This is a terrific option if we can do it. Guys like Baynes/Millsap/Bradley would all be candidates. And we can then use our MLE on another guy
The nice thing about that option is it allows us, if needed, to outbid the BAE and the tax payers MLE.
Really hope it's under consideration. We can have a serious influx of talent that can actually play playoff minutes.
