LOVE THIS MOVE! On and off the court.
And the fact we dumped Mario makes it even better!!!

Neil kept his job this offseason...Covington and Kanter over Ariza and Mario all day long!

    start Kanter!

    Dame + Powell + Little + RoCo + Kanter

off the bench: CJ + Nurkic + DJJ + Melo + Ant

Kanter has his flaws, but what he does, he does really well. I'd like to keep him if we can put a decent defensive power forward next to him.

Would have been interesting to see Collins instead of Melo next to Enes

I assume you mean a PF who can protect the rim? The only problem I see with that is most of those types of defensive PFs are not ideal for covering the perimeter. Most teams now spread you out so much it is hard for a PF to help down low and get back outside to cover their own man. I think RoCo does a decent job though.

don’t see how that’s going to help because teams are actively attacking Kanter in the pick and roll. There’s only so much a help defender can do in that situation.

    +1

he’s great! And like a poster above said, but a decent power forward next to him - to expand, put an in-the-paint-scoring PF next to him! Randle of NY Knicks! Or turn Towns into a PF

I still say we trade Nurkic, CJ and a nice draft pick for Towns and Rubio

Nurk is so much better defensively and offensively than Kanter.
