    The Bulls had always lost to the pistons all throughout the 80s but after 91' they never lost to the pistons again? What changed this?

    Simple. Horace Grant and Scottie Pippen matured as players.Also, several years of deep playoff runs caught up with the Pistons Healthwise and agewise.

    ^ Pretty much. also, the Bulls had a new head coach in Phil Jackson who brought a new style to them. sometimes new ideas work.
