QUOTE (Premier)

Shooting often takes quite a bit of endurance and arm strength. In case you forgot, Gilbert Arenas is in the NBA and in great physical condition. Im not saying that he doesnt get tired, Im just saying there is no way that an NBA PLAYER can wear out his arms from too much shooting.

Says the guy who probably doesn't take more than 50 shots a day off of Live, I don't think you understand the exertion that goes into a jumpshot, much less 1000+ a day.

And during the summer I have been shooting at least 150-200 shots almost everyday, because I am going to try to walk-on my college bball team next year. I know that 150-200 shots is nothing compared to the amount of shots that NBA players take everyday, but I am not anywhere near the physical condition that NBA players are in and I am not getting worn out from my shooting. With the physical trainers that NBA players have access to, and with the great physical condition NBA players are in, I am almost 100% sure that Gilbert does not become "worn out" from too much shooting. A normal person like us would get worn out from all of that shooting but not an NBA athlete.

Let's get one thing straight, I'm the out of shape guy on S2.
Played a game yesterday and nearly dropped a lung.

Is it more lazy to output effort so that you can be more comfortable when being lazy or is it more lazy to be too lazy to put that effort forth, even though you wont be able to sloth it up quite as easily? and whos more out of shape, the guy that plays and struggles or the guy that never plays, but also never struggles? lets here it

I'm in shape compared to your average person and I'd look like Mr. Universe if I were to walk down a street in the Midwestern states. But I couldn't keep up with these kids, then again I was never the fastest cat. I'm 6'3 215, so that makes me the postman when I play around here, a role I'm more than comfortable playing.
That and I make a living throwing around cases a beer, so I'm pretty muscular. Think Karl Malone in his year with the Lakers.

The epitome of hard work, especially after coming out of the 2nd round to the Warriors. I'm glad he got out of there while he could.
I think he can do it. He just has to hit ALOT of shots per day and do nothing else but play basketball lol.
http://www.nba.com/blog/gilbert_arenas.html

Race to 100,000 Makes: Update
I stopped my shots at 50,000. I’m not going for 100,000 anymore. I did 50,000 in 26 days. What happened was I sat out a couple days and that turned into a whole week because my arm was sore. I thought tendonitis might be starting to kick in so I had to shut the 100,000 down. Then I had to balance out by working out and doing drills and dribbling the ball because I wasn’t dribbling before, I was just sitting there shooting. I was looking like Jud Buechler. The way I was going, I was preparing just to be a spot-up shooter. I’ll save that role for my after years, then I’ll just be a spot-up. They told me it was just too much on my arms and I needed to work in some of my legs and footwork stuff so I stopped at 50 k and I still had like 45 days left to reach my goal. But now I’m working on my overall balance and I’m back at 100 percent healthy so that’s good. I played pickup ball at Barry Farms the other day and had about 35 points and was dunking and stuff, so I’m feeling good.

He failed, too bad, he still did quite a feat and it did hopefully get his shot back to the level it was at before the injury.
