I disagree. How they distance from her shows how disconnected from reality a lot of the American public is. If getting close to her would be a winning formula - they would be all over it. Let's try to point the finger at the real culprit - the American people's will to believe what is wrong - and she says it loud and clear in the second tweet above. Unfortunately - and this is something some people on the left are unwilling to accept - the USA population is a very large ship to turn around. Anyone that thinks it can be easily maneuvered like a white-water raft is going to be very disappointed. That's why Biden won the Democratic nomination - his center / leaning left position is one that is much easier to sell to the American public, even if what AOC, and Bernie et al say actually makes a lot of sense, logically.

And on the other hand, the right's obsession with her is just weird. Any of the rare times I turn on Fox, she seems to be the topic of discussion, like she IS the Democratic Party or something. My GOP friend thinks she is our hero, but I don't know anyone that really thinks about her all that much. Do you?
