Ducks defense sucks really bad and that new quarterback is garbage. But I hear he’s just a stop gap till next year when that stud 5 star qb comes over
If that is true, then he must be the worst game day coach in the country. More likely, all the bragging about his recruiting is horse manure. Many people thought Kelly was a mediocre recruiter, but his teams actually won!
I've heard this said before, but I'm not sure what it means. I haven't seen any team use COVID as an excuse. If fans use it as an excuse, that doesn't impact the outcome of the games. To dismiss that COVID could impact one team more than another in a specific game would be silly (see Clemson vs ND).
the Mountain West Conference is probably playing better football than the Pac-12 this year. Covid is fucking up everything, but even allowing for that, the Pac-12 is really messed up this year. And as usual, the worst officials in the land Ducks have a lot of talent, but they also have too many holes. Between the graduations on the DLine and at LB, and the early departure of 3 starting D backs the defense is a hot mess (lost 8 starters on defense & 8 on offense). They did better this game, but the offense decided to take the night off. The Ducks are losing turnover and penalty battles; why shoot one of your feet when you can shoot both it's almost comical that if the Ducks can somehow find a way to beat the Huskies next weekend, they'd win the Pac-12 North. Probably means the Huskies will fake Covid and cancel the game. edit: that last part I wrote when Utah led the Beavs 30-10 in the 4th Q. Beavs have come back and trail 30-24 with 6 minutes left
I worry that a down year could hurt them in recruiting. Alabama and Ohio State don't have down years.
That's ASININE. He's got the program going in the right direction. He just lost Herbert. He has a 5 star QB commitment coming in next year. RELAXXXXXX!
Will Cristobal even be here in a year? Will all these supposedly great recruits follow him if he goes to Texas? https://247sports.com/Article/Texas...yer-James-Franklin-Mario-Cristobal-156073162/
Cristobal seems like a good character guy. I don’t see him jumping ship that quickly and looking like a tool bag to all these young recruits he convinced to go to Eugene.
Oregon looked like the same mediocre team that lost to the Beavs the week prior vs UCLA. It's not about the (other) osu, it never is, so sorry. STOMP
After going 9-5 they had their best class in history, then last year they had an even better class, and they're likely to top that when signing day happens next week. Recruiting isn't on the top 10 of their biggest issues. In fact, it might be the #1 thing they have going for them.
