as he should. I don’t really see him on the bench late in games unless it’s out of a timeout and it’s a defensive possession in a close game. Hopefully Stotts actually rotates him in those situations.
When's the last time we had a legit bench gunner? Not just a Patty Mills [edit: chucker] type or sporadic contributor like Will the Thrill, but someone who could attack defenses in multiple ways and requires game planning for. Early Z-Bo, maybe? Rudy, perhaps. If Carmelo is fresh at the end of games, from having only played 20 minutes or so, he's a huge asset for those final possessions when the defense has to cover all the primary weapons. At this stage, I'd say he's embraced Portland more than Roy did. #7 is Carmelo's, as far as I'm concerned.
I don't know if he should or shouldn't. But I do know there will be games where he's not playing well enough to end games. I hope his ego can handle it.
Man I still can’t get over that Blevins signing lolll. Should’ve just signed CJs bro instead. He can at least play somewhat.
Did they re-open the practice facility? I know Melo only got braids either yesterday or two days ago.
