I thought Portland was Rose City. So how do are you unable to distinguish between roses and Carmelo? Totally wrong color.

Yikes, I hope things get better for him. I’ve got an 87 year old friend/acquaintance in our little town who I help out with a lot of things. He stays home now and I’ve been keeping away from him for quite some time to avoid the risk of giving it to him. I’m not sure he could handle it. I think even a simple flu might give him a run for his money at this point. It’s definitely a strange illness, the severity and symptoms vary drastically from one person to another. I had a very mild cold and a headache. Before I started to question if I had come down with something it was gone. This was while I was out of town working (in North Dakota, which was literally the worst state for covid at the time). It was very cold that week and I figured the runny nose was from hoofing around out in the elements for long hours. I was actually more worried about my wife, she is healthy but does experience shortness of breath caused by anxiety. I figured once she tested positive her anxiety would trigger if she started having respiratory symptoms, and the two combined would snowball into some kind of covid/anxiety/breathing mess. Luckily that didn’t happen and her symptoms were extremely mild. The real indicator was the loss of taste and smell which she did experience.

lol...what does that have to do with what you originally said? You indicated that Coach K is throwing in the towel on the season purely because of a poor start to the season, and sorry, but that's factually wrong...and it does not matter if it happened this year or not....did they also quit early on the other poor seasons?...No.

Do you have any idea how much money this is costing Duke?...Why would they cancel their games just because they didn't start the way they would have liked?

And both losses were to teams who are ranked higher than Duke and the university has already clearly stated their reasoning for halting the season and it's because of covid19 concerns.
Again, your claim that it was because the coach knew his team sucks has no merit.

Looks like I'm not the only one questioning it.

I like how some of the news you hear say this is the beginning of the end of the virus. Couple minutes minutes later, This vaccine won't totally kill the virus, not everyone should get this vaccine, couple minutes later, we just don't know what exactly will happen if someone skips or is late on getting the 2nd dose. What else am I missing?
