Worst team I ever saw was like mid-90’s Mavericks squad.

The Clippers in the late 90’s were awful too. I think Pooh Richardson and Loy Vaught were their go to players.

CJ is not going to change his game he going to do same things he always have done in the pass. He going be high volume shooter without any defense majority of the time. This not going to change and Melo been like this his whole career there both volume scores they might average a lot but how many do they have to take to get those points. Mean time no one else get in the flow of there game on the offense. I quarentee that other players get tire or playing with players like that and it don't matter if there saying the right thing out loud to the press. I remember Harkless same something about it when play year and got bench for it. Until they get rid of guys like CJ and Melo don't look for a championship any time soon.

You guys forget that when people write "i'm done" they are very emotional in that moment because we are all Blazers fans and we all want the Blazers to win and not get embarrassed. Some people can watch that and some not everybody is different

When i watch melo getting the ball, and he doesn't even look like he want's to pass, and immediately shots a long two, this is unwatchable in 2020-2021, i don't even wanna start with CJ and how much i hate his game

Guys are seriously acting like kids, it's a game 1 in a NBA season, with new pieces to our squad and coming out of a pandemic, and with very limited practice time and a new defensive scheme.

Chill out, it's cringe how some of you guys complain.

Denver, the team that was in the WCF vs the Lakers, lost game 1. Oh no, blow up the Nuggets!

As bad as they looked, i now think the OP is not as old as i once did.
    Lifetime?

Blazers have been a decent team the majority of their existence. However, they were pretty damn bad after the jail blazers era. To the point i stopped watching them for years.
    Granted. Thats 15-20 years ago....

And you're acting like a blind homer. Same problems we saw last year. These issues arent new or limited to "one game", this is a continuation and theres been no progress despite an upgraded personnel. Also, almost every team has new pieces and are going through the same pandemic. No excuses.

If we go 0-4 I'm down to let Stotts go. He is a great dude. And has done well bringing up rookies, but this team does not play defense and only seems to have a fire under their asses when their backs are against the wall. They play differently in the playoffs, or when they are trying to make the playoffs, or when they are down by 20. They don't bring that intensity all the time. And, again, no defense.

As far as this being the worst Blazers team... LMAO. There was a year where Steve Blake, Viktor Khryapa, Juan Dixon, and Joel Przybilla were in the starting 5 for most games. This was game 1. I wonder if the Lakers board had someone melt down after losing to the Clips on opening night?

If CJ is a black hole on offense then Melo is a super-massive black hole. CJ’s assist rate is 3x Melo’s.

Nope, you can't compare last year to this year. Last year we had tons of injuries and no Nurkic and no defensive wings like we do now.

It's more like you should compare this team to the team in the bubble, which was playing great ball until we ran into the Lakers, the eventually champs who beat everyone else they faced.

It's one game in a long season, ONE GAME! Relax, now 20 games into the season if we are still at this point ok but it's ONE game lol. And the year before last year we went to the WCF, first time in 20 years. How quick you guys can forgot and how whinny some of you guys can be in insane.

I am not seeing many mention how Dame looked out there. Coasting, came out flat and going through the motions.

Do you guys really think even if we played top notch D last night or any other night that would have a chance to beat teams with Dame going 4-12 FG, 1-7 from 3's with 9 points?

The blame should go to some of the players, Dame and Nurk especially.

But no, fans love to hate on Stotts and CJ in here LMAO

Both are black holes on offense because they only look for their own shots. Honestly i would hate to play alongside both. Imagine how Rodney or Trent is feeling, they must be like wtf is going on here
