Like, if there were people still on the fence on if he's a fucking scumbag, they should be off of it by now. And thats the nice way I'm putting it.
Democrats getting off really easy in this thread. Not that I’d really expect anything else here, but I do find it interesting. Another one of the biggest bi-partisan upward wealth transfers in world history, literal money laundering through foreign countries and ‘non-profit’ (lol) organizations and a nice big “fuck you” for the people whose livelihoods they stole in the short window of a year, and who also happen to be paying for this nightmare. Anyone who clamored for this less than worthless bill to get signed just sold all our grandchildren’s futures down the river for a $600 bribe. Congratulations. What is the next carrot on a stick going to be? I can’t fathom anything worse than the outright theft we just witnessed. It is literally nothing short of criminal.
This one bill isn't big enough to impact my grandchildren, who are at least 10 years from being born.
Funny thing here is this just shows how incompetent Trump really is. If he had been advocating for 2k per month since March then he would have easily won the election. It would have perfectly fit his populist image. The fact that he didn't do that, despite the obvious fact that he could care less one way or another, shows how disconnected him and his political strategy are.
That’s quite a gestation period. When you consider the fact that this country will never be out of debt, like literally never, it’s not even possible at this point, then yes it will affect your grandchildren. And probably their grandchildren too. Although I don’t see this experiment lasting that long with the ghouls we have steering the ship.
This country hasn't been out of debt for it's entire existence. This is like the person who said that the Blazer would be moving to Vegas (or maybe it was Seattle, I don't remember) if they traded for Harden. Maybe don't over-react?
You think it just goes on forever like this? The Federal Reserve act was only signed in 1914. We’ve run up 27T in debt in a little over one hundred years. It won’t last, but enjoy it while it does.
What is it in the bill that you think will destroy the country? Is it in the stimulus part or the annual funding part? barfo
the annual funding part that happens every year. Trump asked for most of it but it’s the Democrats fault. lol
The "inflation tax" is going to screw everyone. True inflation has been running ~5-8% for several years now (despite what the bogus CPI says with their manipulated numbers). This is just the beginning of the pain.... Get ready because the US is already beginning to loose the 'Global Reserve' status.
There's a massive difference between being 'in debt' and 'insolvent'. There is only one option and that is massive inflation (worse than the '70s). It creates a larger disparity between those with assets (the have's) and those without assets (the have not's). We are already seeing it happen, but no one seems to want to notice...
We've been taught/told to only care about our own incomes. The rich are getting richer (further insulating themselves, albeit temporarily).
Eventually, it will all collapse under the weight of itself, all that money will have no value, and they will be as poor as everyone else again.
Right. Earlier this year, you were exhorting Democrats to just agree to anything Republicans demanded in order to get money to people who desperately needed it and, if they didn't, people's financial misery was all on Democrats. Now, with Democrats wanting more money for Americans and Republicans trying to keep the money that average Americans get down because "budget," it's again basically Democrats' fault. Why do you even bother typing anything other than "I hate Democrats no matter what they do?" All the rest of your typing is inefficient since there's nothing more to it than that single sentiment.
You’re right, I was. I still felt the bill was absolute trash but people needed help and the $1200 was at least something, albeit not enough. $600 for people in a bill this size is an embarrassment. It’s beyond insulting. And also, I never once claimed this bill was solely Democrats fault. I suggested that they hold some culpability as well, and they do. No need to so get defensive.
