When Melo comes back from the health/safety protocol, should he lose his spot in the rotation?

Their best player with a mouth full of stitches and playing in a mask? That guy? Yes, quite correct.

Well that was all around ugly and embarrassing. Here is hoping they come out with more aggression in the next 2 games and beat golden state twice. I would take 3 and 1 on this LA trip. No need to panic unless we drop both of those games.

I didn't want to be the first one to mention that and potentially have to fight the entire board over it, but, yeah, his shot just hasn't been nearly as deadly through the first 4 games as we're used to seeing in the last few seasons.

Yep. That sore mouth sure effected his ability to run, jump, and shoot.

Of the 8 games we’ve played this year, we’ve been blown out in 5 of those games. One of the wins was against a team with 9 players missing 3 rotation players.

Giles is ready for rotation minutes.

OTOH — Simons shouldn’t be playing 10 minutes as long as the game is within reach. Garbage time player.

CJE is a ways away too. Yikerz :banghead2:

Next game Dame should shoot the first 50 shots for the Blazers to get him going. Screw Nurk or CJ. Just shoot it

We are 2-2. Panic if that makes you happy. I’ll choose a even keel.

Like a lot of you, I'm at a loss for why Giles isn't getting minutes. Not sure who should lose minutes, but someone should.

But I'm not surprised that Stotts is sticking with what's not working.

Once they got down by 20, he should've gone "hey, this shit isn't working, I'll try giles. he's at least has a decent game".

    but did he? Nope.

Not very good game but it's a lost but they need to figure things out especially on defense. I will watched it tomorrow to give more opinion on the game. But coming out LA 1-1 it's kind of a win. If we can take 2 at Golden State and come back home 4-2 I will feel good. But some of these guys need step up and especially Nurk because he pretty important in the middle on defense but also pretty important piece on offense and right he just not producing like he use too. Yes out of shape but go far as you can at 100 percent and come out. The coach must play Giles to relieve Nurk for 5 minutes each half until he gets in shape.

Yep, he's shot... you guys are really onto something. He fell off when he turned 30. That's it for him. All-NBA to scrub over night. It couldn't be a slow start. It's not like he just put together a brilliant half against the world champs two nights ago or anything. GTFOH

    I agree completely.
It's just so very hard to judge what a player does in a different system with different levels of talent around them. Just because a player plays worse doesn't mean his last coach was way better or likewise.
One other issue that we didn't discuss might also be the training staff and assistant coaches including the Video coordinator and even the facilities they work out in. A good organization is important.

Wonder what the Clipper fan equivalent of you was saying when they lost by 50? Must’ve been something to see!

Sounds like excuses to me, and I just read Stotts is guilty of using injuries as an excuse, so not valid.
