When Melo comes back from the health/safety protocol, should he lose his spot in the rotation?

Poll closed Jan 3, 2021.
  1. Yes, he was horrible before and there are better players behind him.

    31.6%
  2. No, but give him one last chance. If he stinks it up, into the doghouse he goes.

  3. No, give him a couple more chances, and if he doesn't play well, then give away his minutes or spot.

    10.5%
  4. No, but keep him on a short leash each game. Pull him if he's not playing well.

  5. No, a player should not lose his spot because of an injury. He deserves his place in the rotation.

The mans lady is about to have twins, sometimes even Super Stars have distractions. Jobs and money don't always get top billing when you're a fam man.

Changing green font to small print is very small if you.

I think the declarations about simons might be a tad premature, but whatever.

This teams biggest issue is it's anemic defense, especially at the 3.

The Jazz took 50 3 pointers, the Rockets took 35 and the Clippers took 38. The Lakers took only 27, and honestly, if they had taken as many as the Jazz or Clippers did, they probably would've won the game.

Not that the # of 3 pointers that the Jazz shot (or made for that matter) was the difference maker, it's just a sign of the teams defense being still stuck in Stotts "wide open 3's are harder to make than contended 2s!" mentality.

this team isn't going anywhere with that mentality and with him as the head coach.

Isn't that a legitimate question? I'd follow up with: "What's your plan to do better in that area?" Did Boylen have any ideas?" "Did Boylen actually get to work with the players?" "Have you decided to give up on changing the defensive scheme?"

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or just venting, but isn't that the exact opposite of his stated scheme?

It was poorly worded. Im trying to say that it wasn't just the 3 pointers that killed the Blazers, it was the defensive lapses and continued mindset of doubling the post at the expense of the 3.

Dame will likely score and assist quite a lot more than he will rebound but he'll do that to, really well for his position.

And just from watching the game yesterday; I thought Clips had many more open threes than Blazers.

There are no bad teams. Only bad posters.

Sorry for losing it a bit last night.
