He's not the crappy attitude one. He did make some mistakes but he has worked hard. Like usual the younger brother is better faster and smarter. (Yes that is a jab at all older brothers)
Watching him as a kid, in HS, and actually afterwards, I could not stand him. Still cant. But he's good. The cockiness is next level. Throw in the family, etc., and nope, dont like. I don't even like how the media jams him down our throats.
I don't think he or Lonzo have really done anything to be hated to be honest. It's the dad. They play each other tonight, should be fun to see. Lamelo, doesn't even start, but hopefully they get a chance to go at each other.
Thats an interesting take. I was the complete opposite. I loved em. Completely being a hotdog and hitting circus shots. Reminded me of playing up at the parks as a kid. Would I want him as my PG, nope. Would I set his game to record on a DVR....hell ya.
Anyone watching Lamelo right there? One second on shot clock, passes up wide open shot, passes to teammate he can’t get shot off. Why? Because he needs one assist for a triple double. 6 point game 35 seconds left.
12/10/9 in 26 minutes played. Nice night for a 19 year old playing in his 9th career game......against his brother for the first time.
So you are hating because he passed the ball. I hope you aren't one of the guys on here who bitches because Melo and CJ always shoot.
He passed to get an assist for a triple double when he needed to get a shot off before the clock expired.
The reports on him coming in was that he was a good athlete & excellent passer/playmaker with feel for the game but he cant shoot & doesn't play D. His dad stated he's a leader & not a follower which is a positive if you're good enough to lead but a negative if not. From what I've seen the scouting report has been spot on. STOMP
I didn't see the play and can't judge his intentions, but passing with too little time to get a shot off doesn't sound like a great way to notch an assist.
He fully thought he could get the ball six feet away from him via pass and his teammate might be able to shoot it. Made no sense to pass instead of shoot at that point. It’s not like it was a better shot.
He could have launched it and people would complain he was a hot dog and should have given it up to a vet.
I feel like you aren’t understanding what I’m saying. He HAD to launch it. Go on Twitter and search Lamelo triple double pass or something and you’ll see. It was a joke on his part. It’s not the end of the world but this thread was happening and then I saw it so I mentioned
