I'm guessing small groups will congregate on small message boards. Some micro militias will form as will some domestic terrorism (think OKC Bombing).

I'll probably will be off twitter now, I'll just go to various websites directly for news or discussion. Will miss the breaking news, but oh well, better things to focus on than what's going on in the world.

That's how things have always been. Stormfront and other forums have always been hotbeds of violent rhetoric, some of which has turned into real life violence. If you're trying to suggest that Twitter defrayed the tension and reduced domestic terror instincts which will now ramp up, I don't think anyone's going to buy that.

 

Banning and deplatforming people will not end well. The purge was not just Trump, many people were quietly shunned away with no explanation. Even fucking MAGS was banned from Twitter and it appears to be permanent.

They will turn normies into extremists and groups like the Proud Boys will grow. We will witness the birth of a newer, more extreme version of the Tea Party.

Big tech, the media and government will just escalate further and MAGA will also respond in kind.

I mean look at that dumb bitch who got shot at the capital, totally fucking normal and she got brainwashed.

I guess time will tell. But MAGA Country won't go away quietly. Jan 6th was a down-payment for something bigger in the future.

 

I know your character would like to believe that chaos and destruction is on the way, but we're going to have to agree to disagree. "MAGA Country" existed before Trump and will go back to where it was: silently resenting society for not letting them be openly racist. Trump didn't create or invent anything, he just gave them mainstream cover for a few years. That mainstream cover is gone once again.

Racist "normies" don't suddenly become murderers because they got kicked off Twitter. They go to sympathetic sites and masturbate with each other about how society has gone to shit and America needs a good civil war. Then they eat the chicken tendies their mom made and stream more anime. The kind of anime that has teenage girls in their underwear.

 

The country absolutely lost their shit when a political rally got out of control and stormed the capital. Despite what you think, the numbers are there. The passion is there. They arent all shut in aspies.

I know the M.O. of the left is to paint the right as a bunch of inbred hicks. As Holiday Inn and Olive Garden eating cousin fuckers. But they are upset, they feel slighted and cheated and they arent going away any time soon.

 

The numbers were there for an isolated incident. There were isolated incidents around Pizzagate too. People got arrested after realizing they achieved nothing and the whole thing died out. If you think Capitol storming is the new normal, you're going to be one very disappointed edgelord.
