I was watching the Braves and the Diamondbacks on FOX no more than 2 mintues ago when they focused the camera on Braves manager Bobby Cox....Now, thats not abnormal, broadcasts often show managers sitting on the bench....what was unbelieveable was what I saw behind Cox....Braves CF Andruw Jones was knuckle deep in his nose searching for gold nuggets....how does a vet get caught doing that in the dugout? the tunnel is right there, go to the clubhouse and go to town! He was digging with the same excitement of a federal investigator in Mike Vicks back yard....
I enjoyed the game. Eight in a row! They need to build up their lead in the wild card before they go back on their usual losing streak. Getting to the playoffs again would be very nice.
Andruw Jones is now a 6 tool player....the 6th tool being a miniature pickaxe....</p> </p> I havent seen the D-Backs a lot this year, but the 3 games I have seen(2 vs Cubs, 1 vs Braves), Chris Young has been fantastic....hes young and fast, I think hes got a great future....the D-Backs lead the majors in sac flies, and I believe hes a big reason why</p>

He does, but I'd like to see him hit for a better average. I do think he will be a very good pro and Justin Upton is supposed to be even better.
Hes hitting .241 with an ob% under .300, which isnt good, but hes just 24, and I believe this is his 1st full year in the bigs....everytime I see him, hes 3 for 5 and scores, but I guess hes taking a lot of o-fers too
Yes he's a rookie and he's become my favorite player on the team. I expect better in the future. He's not a hopeless case there like Carlos Quentin...he shows some patience and with more experience will get better. He did hit for a good average in the minors and is supposed to be a "5 tool player". So far he's shown 4 of the 5 and I'm satisfied with that right now. I just hopes he picks up his average a bit now that we are so close to a playoff spot.
