So he’s going to Brooklyn or philly? I can’t see philly giving up Simmons, even if Morey is in charge.

This seems like the kind of moment where Neil could be the 3rd wheel to help this deal get through.

I don’t think there’s one guy on the current roster Neil is open to trading. Maybe Giles hehe

I think he is trying to send a message to his teammate that "I can't pass it to you where you are standing without the ball getting stolen." I don't see a problem.

Why do I get the feeling we will be involved in a huge trade?

I have a possible answer, because it takes so long, and Neil never leaks anything. But i doubt the Blazers are involved, i would be totally shoked

I'm in the camp that believes that Olshey would never trade CJ. He's 100% invested in the idea that the Dame/CJ back court can win a championship. I think that's dumb, but I'm not paid 5M a year to be dumb like Olshey is

Maxey and Simmons (and picks?) would be a great deal for Houston. Take it and run Rockettes

From the way these reporters are talking on twitter, the hold up with Philly are the Maxey/Thybulle additions. The Simmons part is done.

Is this gonna be a repeat of the Garnett/Pierce deal? They're finally relevant again after a decade, and they're going to risk their future again?

Isn't the reason Durant went to the Nets was to play with Kyrie?

Not necessarily for Harden. I think Neil has seen enough to know he needs to acquire another vet forward that can score 15-20 night. He could very well package Trent in a deal.

If Philly cant swing a deal for Harden I could see them targeting CJ or Trent.

In Brooklyn package, send trent+ to Houston, and try to get levert
