D’Angelo in, Smith out Igor in. Lines not worth talking about as Quinn will be changing them by the 10 minute mark of period one!

Rangers had the better chances but still trail 1-0 after one

Lafreniere needs to shoot the darn puck. Quinn needs to get on him to shoot. Young kids always looking to be unselfish, and it goes too far.

And I am done with Strome. Guy has been invisible so far. Weak a** effort on a breakaway. Cannot win a FO. This guy needs to be moved in a package soon.

We are in desperate need of a # 2 C who can win an f'ing FO.

Good period except for a bit of a boneheaded play by Lindgren. Good to see guys shooting from the point.

Yes, and overall they played well in the 1st period also (outside of FO's). They have played a solid game overall, now we'll see if they can finish.

Chytil and Buch have raised their games this season. Good to see Kakko with 2 goals in 4 games.

Miller does look great with an amazing reach. Future # 1 dman I think.

And maybe a deal with the Jets involves Laine and a 3rd team. No shot we were getting him within the same division. Sounds like it will be done by tomorrow worst case, wherever he goes. They already said scratch tomorrow night if still on the team.

Miller looks amazing. Quinn is a fucking retard. Putting DeAngelo in the shootout when you have Lafreniere, Kakko and Chytil having the game he did. I swear, the more I watch this coach the more he has to go. He already is sucking off Johnson who fucking sucks and cost us another goal tonight.

Played well for 2. Up and down in 3rd. Another L. Not good. Strome has to go. He has been useless so far. Move him down and Chytil up.

I'll also add, outside of the 2nd Isles game, our goaltending has been subpar. Igor didn't let in any bad goals tonight, but he has not really been sharp. Looked overmatched in the shootout.

It's concerning that we have played poorly overall in a very short season, with many games left against Boston, Philly, Wash, and the Isles. Gorton has to decide which way he wants to go. At some point we have to get a # 2 C or this will end badly. Can't play and pay all the kids Jeff...

Do you ever not complain about a coach? I mean really every single coach you complain about. I mean literally every single one. God could coach the team and you'd complain.

The game didn't come down to using DeAngelo in the shootout. Sure use someone else, but that was not the deciding factor in the game. DeAngelo has scored in the shootout for us in the past.

When I see a coach come in, put in a solid defensive system, not ruin the offense of the offensive players, stop playing rejects who don't produce, then I'll stop complaining. Torts had no clue how to coach offense. AV had no clue how to coach defense or value defensive defenseman. Quinn has no clue how to put in a defensive system. If you remember, I wanted the Rangers to go after the coach of the Lightning when he was in the minors. They fucked that up.

If you got head out of your ass, you would see more and more this coach looks like a college coach. Not a pro coach.

I hear you, but it isn't always about the coach. The players need to step up. And this team is not complete. It is very young, has no # 2 C, needs another LD, and the goaltending has been at best average so far. That is not on the coach.

Quinn has been the coach of a team that came flat out and said we are packing it in and rebuilding. They said it. So he has not had the team to win here. That's the truth. I don't love everything he does, no coach is perfect, but he has not been the issue in his time here. All the reasons listed above and the rebuild, and the kids no coach is winning big with this team right now.

I’m still stunned we lost that game. If Quinn stays we are a lottery team for sure this year. Time to make a move JD

As long as these young guys take something from each game and get better from it. It's kind of whatever with wins and losses this year.

They cannot win a FO, they have no toughness and grit, are filled with young kids with zero experience, their D is short on NHL ready talent, they have no # 2 C. Again, not sure what you want the coach to do. That is an easy scapegoat answer by the same fans who complain about LITERALLY EVERY SINGLE COACH...EVERY ONE. It's old and tired.

Where has Kreider been as usual? That on coach? Strome? That on coach? Come on.

But I'm going to get on him because he used 42% in his career in shootouts DeAngelo in the shootout. So funny.

Hopefully they have Eichel or Barkov in their sights during the summer.

Still very early but not surprising on this board that suddenly if Quinn doesn't take this rebuild to the playoffs he's out. I agree there are a few players to be concerned with but the Rangers outplayed Pitt, as they outplayed the Debs but didn't get the win. Aside from the first game I think Quinn has the younger players giving great effort, they constantly create scoring chances but need to be a little more selfish when the open shot is there. I have no problem with a lottery pick but think we'll be looking at an even younger roster by season's end.
