according to multiple sources. We aren't one of them. Seems to be the Jets and Ducks. I'm pretty sure the Ducks are going to have to give up Zegras IMO. Don't see how this makes any sense for the Ducks. They suck and will suck for a while. They should be dealing off players if possible that are older. I can't image why the Jackets owner and GM are still keeping Torts. I also don't see how Laine would want anything to do with playing for a coach like Torts.

Of course we aren't one of them. As I have been saying, CBJ is not dealing PLD in their own division. No surprise here. Plus Laine is a stud, so if CBJ comes out of this with him on their team it's a HR.

Laine will get frustrated there after a year and probably end up moving again. They're kind of like the TB Rays, not able to hold stars too long and in perpetual flux.

That's because Torts is an asshole. After watching Miller play the last 2 games. I change my mind. I wouldn't give him up in a Dubois deal. I haven't seen a rookie defenseman with that size here that smooth defensively since Staal's rookie year and Miller's skating is a ton better than Staal's. Kid looks like he can be a star.

Yeah he shows alot of natural physical ability though at times you can see he gets a little mixed up on assignments, but that's to be expected early on. Exciting to have him and i really look forward to seeing Lundkvist grow with him. I still think Reunanen can be a good depth guy but i guess his camp wasn't great.

I bet Laine eventually ends up in L.A. as their rebuild gets moved along, or maybe Seattle if they want to add a star after their first few years.

Great move for CBJ to come away with Laine and Roslovic for PLD. That's one we had no shot to get done, now Gorton go find the next top 6 C ready to be moved. That needs to be our guy. Without that I think we continue to struggle.
