I agree. This year is a throw away year for the Rangers. They are not going to compete with the 4/5 top teams in the division, they just aren't. Since those are the only teams they are playing its to be expected that most nights are going to go like the last two games have gone. And by no means am I saying the Devils are one of those top teams but, even they are improved from last year. Get through the next 50 games and try to find a C that can play on the 2nd line. Aside from that, let the young guys develop and focus on a regular 21-22 season with 82 games, hopefully.

Quinn hasn't gotten better as a coach. He's not improving. I think they brought Quinn in just to work with the young players. He has shown nothing that would tell you he's capable of coaching a team to the playoffs. Smith who I can't stand actually has played well and is a plus 4. Johnson who blows continues to play every game and lose us games and is a -4. That's just a retard coach at his best. The PK continues to play passive and leave the points open every fucking time. Guy simply won't change. He's a stubborn mule.

Question - do you write new stuff, or do you simply copy and paste the same comments over that you wrote about Renney, Torts, AV etc.? Pretty much everything you wrote there is a carbon copy of everything you have written about EVERY Ranger coach (especially the stubborn mule part). Rinse and repeat...lazy and old and tired.

This is not about the coach. It is about the stuff I, and a few others, have written.

Question, do you watch games with your eyes open or is your head up your ass? You're no different than 95% of the this dumb fuck fan base. You suck off every coach we have no matter who it is. The only reason this team went to the finals and conference finals was because two coaches meshed one team for a couple of years. Torts taught them how to play defense but couldn't coach offense. AV taught them offense and his teams for a couple of years remembered what Torts taught defensively. The more time that went on with AV, the worse and worse the team got defensively. We haven't had a coach since Keenan who could teach both sides of the ice. Quinn does a good job with young defenseman. That's it. This team has sucked defensively since he took over. If you're so clueless that you don't want to admit that, enjoy. This team won't make the playoffs with this coach. Ever.

By the way. Stop being a bitch and go back to your old handle Chuck. You know, the one where you wanted to piss away all our prospects and picks for players on other teams. Just like you are doing now with Dubois.

Rinse and repeat. Renney sucks, Torts sucks, AV sucks, Quinn sucks, the next coach after that will suck, as will the coach after that. Just bump Torts and AV posts and save yourself some time. If the coaches don't do everything you want, or the GM doesn't make all your fantasy trades, that never EVER happen, they all suck. We got it.

Yes, I'm the one who has been pushing for dealing a bunch of prospects for Dubois...LOL. Once again you are so utterly lost it hurts.

And for the record, I agree with you on going all in for a # 2 C I just know it won't be Dubois in our division. Maybe Barkov.

And for the record, Gorton did 100% the right thing going all in to win a cup with Hank. That doesn't mean every individual move was the right move, but the strategy was spot on. And the proof that it was the right strategy is our current team loaded with young talent, and our current system loaded with young talent. Despite all the dealing away of picks/prospects Gorton did to win a cup, we still are stacked with young kids/picks/prospects a mere 3 years later.

So yes amazing job by Gorton. Now go get a legit # 2 C and complete this team.

Just getting rid of Marc Staal makes this defensive unit better, at least Johnson takes the body. Jack's just a temporary fill in. Hopefully Lindgren learned to stay on his skates instead of employing the knee drop flail the puck into my own goal. I would rather have a guy like Johnson teaching young players, Marc taught them a method that only works if your last name is Staal.

Lindgren's had a little bit of a rough start to the year but he is what he is.

Asking young defenseman to play well when you team has NO DEFENSIVE SYSTEM in place is almost impossible. It's really a tribute to Fox, Lindgren and Miller that they are overcoming Quinn's incompetence most of the time. DeAngelo isn't strong enough on defense to do that.

I'm looking forward to the Pack coach replacing Quinn sooner than later. Not to mention these pairings for at least 5 to 6 years. That Trouba contract is already looking bad. Never, never, give out NTC or NMC clauses unless it's a franchise player. He isn't. Sadly, I think Lundkvist will be moved in a deal for a center.

    Miller-Schneider
    Lindgren-Fox
    Robertson-Trouba

Your obsession with Renney, I mean Torts, I mean AV, I mean Quinn being the issue and not having a system is laughable...period.
