Saw all of that. Sometimes, though, I just want to search by the movie name (like the movie for tonight). tubi offers that functionality. Ahh, well, Pluto looks like a great app, as well. Thanks!
Found Pluto the other day and it's GREAT for background noise. Looks like they have a ton of old tv shows and movies but what I like is the 24/7 channels. I'm a sucker for MTV's The Challenge, especially the older seasons and to have a channel playing that constantly has been fun while cleaning up around the house or cooking dinner.
Wooks, I noticed your shirt. You sure you're not fabricating, uhmm, extra-curricular type products at your place of biz?
Roku has quite a few free movie channels but most of them are real B movies, not anything I would want to watch. But they do have a classic movie channel, mostly from 30s and 40s, mostly black and white, with some real classics like original Phantom of the Opera, Gaslight, Cabinet of Dr. Caligari. Not into Westerns but if you are and have a Roku this channel has tons.
There are two sections to the app, Live TV and On Demand. Click the On Demand to see which movies are available.
With my new Samsung TV I got, it comes with something called SamsungTV. It's like 165 channels FOR FREE! As well as 10 music channels like Spotify. No sports or anything like that I believe, but damn. Not bad for free if you aren't picky. https://www.samsung.com/us/televisions-home-theater/tvs/tvplus/all-channels/
Ya I checked it out, and it's not for us. But shit, if you just needed basic stuff , that's A LOT of content for free.
Yeah, we have that on our Samsung tv's, as well. A nice feature. Plus, the channel guide integrates well with our local channels, which we pick up via a digital antenna. Everything is free, free, free. And, as Tom Peterson used to say, "Free is a very good price!"
It should show up on your bottom home panel. I read that Samsung began installing this feature around 2016. The logo should look something like this:
