Neil wouldn't. It's pretty obvious that the Blazers front office is ok with being mediocre/good fun watching regular season team.
I look at because he can handle ball and he is good distributor with ball. He been a lot better from the 3. Plus he can allow Dame play off the ball that prevents the double. Plus leading the 2nd unit and thats pushes Simons off ball where I that he can be very effective. So I would interest in trading for him.
We need to trade CJ. Trent Jr is perfect next to Dame. He is younger better spot up shooter and much better defender he also doesn’t do lots of iso crap. CJ will be free agent in 2 years who can get max somewhere. Trade him for a valuable PF or SF .
John Collins would be awesome. Maybe CJ in a three team trade. It would be hard to trade him for Collins straight up. We could do CJ for Collins, Huerter, Kris Dunn, and tony snell. That isn’t necessarily a bad deal though
I agree I have a trade in mind that would just send them out and bring back Randle and Rivers from the Knicks and Allen from the Cavs. The idea is that for CJ and Nurk the Knicks would give up Randle, Rivers, Noel and the Dallas first rounder this year. Then the Cavs would take Noel and the Mavs pick for Allen. Randle is that PF you want. Rivers is the backup G that would be needed without CJ. Allen would our C of the future and compete with Enes for the starting spot during the rest of this season. Unfortunately Neil is dead set on this roster being a contender if healthy, so he's not going to make any major moves.
In a heartbeat. I just don't know if the Pels will be down. I would even guarantee Houston the pick and give up a future first.
