    CJ 2-3 weeks
    Nurk 3-4 weeks
Collins will probably miss the season and be traded

So the first game back after the all-star game will be around March 10th
So maybe 9 more games for CJ and Nurk.

Traded how? Isn’t he a RFA this summer or can take the QO? He has no trade value on a trade because he wasn’t extended. He may accept the QO of $7ish million if offered, which seems likely for him unless another team offers him a dumb contract. Either that or just outright release him and get nothing back, which doesn’t seem like an Olshey move to give up on a lottery pick.

I think you're right on from what I've read, except that last little part that says, "and be traded". First of all what the post above this one says about Zach being in a murky spot with this team as a guy who needs a QO just to be a restricted free agent, won't allow us to trade him but I think even letting him walk is very unlikely. Neil keeps talking about him like he's the missing piece so I can totally see Neil matching up to 11M per year for Zach. I guess we'll see on all of the things; what's been reported and your trade speculation.

Well I think is done for the season and if he does come back I don't see the minutes especially if Melo continue his play and you have Nurk and Kanter at center so if they was smart just make damn sure he healthy. Now CJ and Nurk I can see both of them coming back getting there starting job back. Of course there will be debate with Kanter and Nurk who should be starting but I believe Stotts will start Nurk with a short chain because how good Kanter is playing. Now CJ there know question he will see him starting. Biggest question would will get there minutes reduce when those two coming back. You know Giles will get his minutes cut and you got Trent and Simons minutes because both are playing good enough to get minutes.

I just read a J Quick Tweet about CJ going in to see the Doctor tomorrow for a check up to see how his foot is healing. Exactly 1 month after the injury.
Nurk was still in a light wrist cast the other night at the Moda. You gotta figure another month for him.
I don't see Collins back before May but i highly doubt they will trade him. They will keep him on the cheap. I also doubt he actually plays this year but he is back in Portland at this point so that is a good thing for him right?

Yes thinks it's good Zach back with the team starting his rehab. Yes I think he won't be back this season. But we will see what's Olshey does this off season with him.

I am officially worried about CJ and Nurk coming back. Stotts had to get more creative without cj. Afraid that will be thrown out the window.

It's gonna be really tricky to get everyone minutes and keep them engaged to maximize the roster. We don't need to stagger Dame/CJ anymore-- just expand to a 10 man rotation and reduce the load on Dame a bit. Here's a potential rotation.

    Start: Dame/CJ/Jones/Roco/Nurk

    Bench: Ant/Gary/Hood/Melo/Kanter

    Spot minutes: Nas/Giles

    Minutes breakdown:

    Dame (32)/ Ant (16)
    CJ (32) / Trent (16)
    Jones (28)/ Hood (16) / Trent (4)
    Roco (32) / Melo (16)
Nurk (24)/ Kanter (24) -- stagger these two a bit to minimize Melo/Kanter lineups.

I doubt he gets traded and Neil will get him on the cheap now and we can use another big utility guy that plays D off the bench. Especially if we lose Kanter because someone offers him big big bucks.

Remember this guy, Zydrunas Ilgauskas. This guy much like ZMan had foot issues his first several years in the league then finally got healthy and succeeded for a few years. Defenders like Zack at a cheap price dont come around much.

i wanna tKe the leap of faith. I really do. I love his attitude and “dont take shit from anyone” stance. We need that on this team.
